Blackened Dogfish Bites

This one is easy and everyone will love it.

Dogfish meat – skinned, gutted, and chopped into 2 inch nuggets.
4 Tablespoons of Cajun Seasoning

1/2 cup of butter


Fresh dogfish meat is key here. If they smell, you did something wrong. Go to the cleaning techniques section to get it right !!
Cube the cleaned, skinned dogfish meat into 2 inch pieces, rinse and pat dry.

Heat cast iron skillet for 10 minutes.

Coat dogfish with 1/4 cup of melted butter, then coat with cajun seasoning. Putting everything into a zip lock freezer bag and shaking it up is a good way to do this.

Pour remaining butter into skillet and cook fish 2 minutes per side – then squeeze fresh lemon juice over them.

Serve them up with lemon wedges.
